Sofie Van Regenmortel works as a postdoctoral researcher within the Society and Ageing Research Lab since 2022. Sofie provides methodological support to various research projects (e.g. CIVEX, HOUSE, HOMeAGE) and conducts research on social exclusion in later life. In 2017 she obtained her PhD, titled ‘Research on Social Exclusion in Later Life (SELL). Measurement and drivers of social exclusion among older adults’. She was part of the ROSEnet | COST ACTION (CA 15122) on reducing old-age social exclusion.
